We’ve added a bunch of pictures from this year’s show sent in by members and attendees. Head on over and take a look!
Ladies and Gentlemen, From all of the folks that put on the 43rd Annual State show sponsored by Don Ringler Chevrolet and Toyota, to everyone in attendance, THANK YOU!
We had a great time hosting everyone. We got to see old friends, make new ones and just enjoy the company of folks that are dedicated to our premise of “Saving Yesterday for Tomorrow”.
A special thanks goes out to Don Ringler Chevrolet and Toyota, Shooter 92.9, Wheeler Companies, Lone Star Ag Credit, Smetana & Associates, Lone Star Structures, Steiner Tractor Parts and all our other sponsor for this year! We’ll be posting pictures and videos from the show in the next few days, so keep an eye out for those.
And again, we can’t thank all of our volunteers, officers and the other folks behind the scenes for working to bring this all together!
SEE YOU ALL NEXT YEAR!
On 8/06/14 Earl Madsen hooked up his ’37 John Deere B and set out to bring in the Corn at the Texas Early Day Tractor and Engine Association show grounds. 2 days and 2 carts later, he finished. To say we had a bumper crop this year is to put it lightly. The cooler weather and timely rain brought us in plenty of ears ready to shell for this year’s show. Thanks again to Earl for his effort in planting, maintaining and harvesting the corn! Be sure to look for Earl at this year’s show for his corn shelling demo!

Our workday for 5/31/14 didn’t go 100% as planned, but we did bring in the wheat. A special thanks to Earl Madsen, Jarrod Lancaster, the Haas Family and the Hargrove Family for all the work that had to be done to get the reaper up and running. And an extra thanks to Gene Haas for helping to prove the saying that “There’s no such thing as too much WD40!”
