1st Annual Tractor Ride was a success!

Thanks to everyone who came out and participated in the 1st Annual Texas Early Day Tractor and Engine Association Tractor Ride! We had a great time on a beautiful day! A special thanks goes out to Gary Hudgens for letting us use his farm as our Lunch destination. Thanks also go out to Chad Haas for grilling some delicious hamburgers and Clinton Noll for hooking up an old fashioned ice cream maker to his John Deere B and making some great ice cream!

We’re already discussing the plans for next year and hope to make the ride even better. We look forward to seeing you all at the 43rd Annual Texas Early Day Tractor and Engine Association State Show sponsored by Don Ringler Chevrolet and Toyota October 4th, 2014.

The gallery for the show is ready to view and we have a video up on YouTube.

Tractor Ride Reminder

The 1st annual Texas Early Day Tractor and Engine Association Tractor Ride is TODAY!

Just a reminder to all participants to meet at the showgrounds and be ready for the Drivers Meeting at 9AM and to leave IMMEDIATELY after. That means being unloaded, gassed up and ready to roll out. Also, all tractors need to have an SMV triangle attached to the back. This is a DPS requirement.

In Memory of Gladys Miller

Ladies and Gentlemen it is with a heavy heart that we must pass along the news of another loss in our TEDTEA family. Gladys Miller passed away Sunday, April 27, following a brief illness. The wife of Louis Miller, Gladys traveled extensively with her husband hunting for antique tractor parts and preparing her famous pickles, cornbread and beans for the Texas Early Day Tractor and Engine Association Annual Show.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 30, 2014 from 6:00PM to 8:00PM at The Gabriels Funeral Chapel, 393 North IH 35, Georgetown, TX. A service of Celebration and Thanksgiving will be at 11:00AM on Thursday, May 1, 2014 at St. Peter Lutheran Church, 2929 FM 972, Walburg, TX, with Pastor Jeff Wallace. Interment will follow at St. Peter Lutheran Cemetery.

For more information you can visit Gladys’ memorial page at The Gabriels Funeral Chapel website.

Her family is in our thoughts and our prayers.
